NOTE ** The CANSail level 1 (a 2 week session) is also a good choice for new sailors!
Ages 8 and up Sailors will meet each day at Dougal Park in lower Gibsons at 9:00 am. Please pick up at 3:00 pm.
This 1 week course introduces younger kids to sailing in a low key environment. Participants will be working on many of the same skills taught in the full CANSail 1 program.

This 2 week course teaches new sailors the basics of sailing in Laser-Picos and Optimist dingys.

Advanced Sailing is designed for sailors working on their CANSail 3 or higher levels. Currently, we can sign off on CANSail 3 and 4 certifications only. Sailors at higher levels are welcome to join to further improve their sailing and racing skills while having a great time on the water!

This 2 week course is taught in Laser 4.7, Optis and double-handed club 420 dinghys and emphasizes boat speed and manoeuvring while introducing students to a racing environment that emphasizes technical accuracy over results.
This 2 week course teaches advanced sailing skills, sail tuning, tactics and mental skills. Coaches help sailors achieve performance and personal goals. CANSail 4 is taught in Laser 4.7, Optis and double-handed club 420 dinghys.
